Bricklaying Course

This intensive 5 day course is a must for anyone requiring bricklaying skills. From anyone wishing to make home improvements, build a small extension or garden wall, to anyone wanting to develop their skills. We are an OSAT Centre for Brickwork.

Course Objectives

To become competent in the following:

• How to set the brickwork out (tracing the bond)
• Consistency of mortar mix
• Building to guage, plumb, level
• Running into a line
• Pointing of brickwork
• Building brick and block corners
• Closing of cavity for window / door opening
• Laying of DPC
