Plastering Course

This intensive course is a must for anyone with little or no experience. You could be a tradesperson who wishes to carry out their own Plastering work after building renovations or a complete novice.

Course Objectives

To become competent in the following:

• Cutting plasterboard to size correctly
• How to fix plasterboard by direct bonding “dot & dab” fixing to studded walls, internal and external angles to windows, door returns
• Using dry lining tape for all applications
• How to apply the finish coat to give a flat smooth surface
• Fixing stop beads, drip beads and angle beads to external corners
